Today on international Museum Day, I have this little story to share. As I decided to plunge into art, I started visiting these shows and talks in museums. On one such occasion a couple of years ago, I went to one of the museums for a grand event. The place was full of renowned figures in art field and I, almost a ‘no one’ attended for my own academic quest for knowledge . An introvert me did not quite interact with anyone in the esteemed gathering and was walking back to my car.
On my way, near the exit, I saw the owner of the museum sitting. I don’t know how and why and with what thoughts in my mind, I walked upto her and introduced myself. She had no clue why I approached her. And I smiled and said to her, “One day, if God wills it, you will have my work in your museum.” And when I think of it now, I laugh at myself. How I could say that. But God has been really kind to me today and my hard work is being blessed. Hope I am able to work harder and do something worthwhile in a field that is my heart and soul.
